BT Young Scientist winner to be announced tomorrow

The winner of the BT Young Scientist Exhibition will be announced at the RDS in Dublin tomorrow.

The turnout this year was strong, despite hazardous driving conditions for many of the teams.

One project found that election candidates with a good image are more likely to attract votes than those with sound policies and a good track record.

The study by Rosses Community school in Co Donegal says voters do not readily admit it, but image is hugely important.
